Eurosport: News & Results App Reviews

Good app - and its the only place I can get info on many of my favorite leagues like SHL, but if I try to go to a league that doesnt have any news from my favorites (like Swedish Hockey League or Italian Serie A) the app crashes. I can go into the league by going to the main sport (I.e. Ice hockey and football respectively) and then locating the league, but going directly from the SHL or Serie A (among others) favorites causes a crash every time.

ES pretend to cover all sports but it seems to be more a soccer app than anything else. News from other sports not always updated (i.e. Last "news" update for WSBK was on Aug 4) and 90% of the time completely irrelevant, videos never work except for the ads, the score page "yesterday, today, tomorrow" never show anything...if you want to look at MotoGP result during the week end, you need to go all the way to championship calendar -->select the race -->the category (then you get an overview) -->practice or qualif or race -->Race.......and finally you get the classification...very user friendly and for a while now, no lap time available, no world championship points......this app is a shame. I am removing it after this post

This app has gone downhill over the years; last straw today and deleted it. It was one thing to have a full screen pop-up app every time the app was opened. But today there were embedded video ads in stories. Sorry, as many of the stories are more gossip/opinion masquerading as journalism AND now the app wants to waste my bandwidth, this app is useless. I have no problem with trying to make money; but Yahoo has really gone too far.

I wish I could give a half star! This used to be my favourite but the placement of ads in videos, use of mobile websites instead of in-app articles has destroyed the overall experience of the app. I have nothing against ads but they have to better placed for me to enjoy the use of the app. I would be interested in reading an article but the time it takes for an d to play kills my interest. Im on my last straw with this app. It will soon be deleted.

This used to be my go-to source of cycling news but Im just sick and tired of not being able to watch videos in the USA... But the commercial clips play just fine!!! HOW CONVENIENT!

Its free. And i get it. But the sheer amount of ads make it impossible to focus on the articles.

Once I liked this app, but since being updated, the easier iPhone navigation has been replaced with a poor alternative. Theyve replaced snap back to return to the top of the articles with scrolling page after page. Makes the app frustrating to use.

The comment section does not work, or our comments are taking forever to be moderated.

Nice visual design, but your ads are way too intrusive and frequent, which destroys the users experience.

Great access to news in Olympic and other "minor" sports not emphasized in the USA and not covered by US newsmedia.

This app is useless full ads no back bottom very complicated to use

Love the app, have used for years BUT, you have to stop the unannounced Voice ads. I cant open the app in public places because it might "burst" into sound. Really restricts me on trains etc...

I just deleted this all after having it and loving it for years. The reason? The ads are unbearable. Every time k open the app Im greeted with a very loud, very long, non-skippable commercial. They dont even offer an ad-free version of the app. I cant open this in public or at work, so Im deleting it. Terrible planning on their part, and Im sure theyll lose a lot of support. I guess its Bleacher Report from now on...

Application does not support the Arabic language

Hi, Ive downloaded the new Application however the Arabic Language is not supported. Kindly advice how to activate it since I went to Settings - Languages and the Arabic is not there Thanks

When you try to view the page of winter transfer everytime you scroll down or up a blank page emerges and distracts you. It never happen before I deleted the app and reinstall it and it is the same a nuisance!

Its stuck on the main screen. It keeps loading forever and my internet connection is fine every other app works fine

Great app. The only one to see results in ski competitions.

This update is clean and works great. The layout is outstanding, congratulations to who ever did the design.
